What is STEM?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The essence of STEM is problem-based learning. Children are presented with a problem and design something that solves the problem. In the process, they activate science knowledge and math skills. Learners practice good collaboration skills and verbal communication by working together. These are 21st Century skills which will carry them into the future and help them become life-long learners.
